'26-'27 AUTUMN/WINTER HOME TEXTILE TRENDS
The summer season of 2026 closed with strong connections to nature.
However, the story changes as we transition to autumn-winter.
With THE ROOTS, we transitioned from summer to autumn with very soft spice varieties.
This time, the focus is not on nature but on people. We continue into the cold winter days with The Climate Of Solitude, turning our faces to cooler colors with our seasonal collections.
Loneliness in the crowd.
The desired controlled temperature within the cold city skyline.
THE CLIMATE OF SOLITUDE,
This is a theme for a profile that accepts the distant atmosphere of modern city life but seeks to create its own warmth within that distance.
This is a story of individuality, a conscious introspection, singularity within cosmopolitanism...

In the Fall/Winter 2026-27 season, with The Climate of Solid, homes will become spaces where one creates their own personal climate, rather than escaping the outside world.

For the Fall/Winter 2026/2027 season, this report is more than just a list of trends; it's a guide that inspires, directs, and helps your brand build a meaningful connection with your target audience.
It has been prepared with information sifted from a wide pool of data, ranging from international publications and consumer insights to market analyses and scientific data.
Because a great collection begins with a great vision.
2026/2027 AUTUMN/WINTER HOME TEXTILE TRENDS 1. THEME:
THE ROOTS
We first took a strategic look at the Fall/Winter 2026–2027 season.
Now it's time to read the creative equivalent of this strategic framework.
This season, which we are evaluating through three main themes that are not independent of each other but rather reinforce each other, begins with the theme THE ROOTS.
As I frequently emphasize in all my writings, no trend analysis that fails to accurately understand the current period can have real significance.
Trends are not merely aesthetic approaches detached from what is happening around us. On the contrary, they are determined by the pulse of the streets, by the changes in the air we breathe as we walk, and by how these changes are reflected in our preferences.
And nothing is demanded all at once. It matures over time and compels production to do what it wants.
One of the best examples of this is the progress made in sustainable production.
The concept of sustainability, which emerged with the Industrial Revolution and gained momentum after World War II and which today excludes those who do not act in accordance with its established principles, has a long history of struggle behind it.
In short, the point I want to make is that trends don't determine what we choose to produce. Our choices determine what will be produced. This sometimes happens suddenly; sometimes it takes years.
For all these reasons, even the smallest choices we make as individuals are, contrary to popular belief, very influential. So let's not underestimate ourselves.
Let's not forget that everything begins with one person.
Through our research, we analyze these preferences and reveal what the public expects, from both an aesthetic and psychological perspective.
Let's look at the underlying reasons and how these choices we mentioned took shape in the Autumn/Winter 2026/2027. season;
This season, in home textiles, we are consciously embracing natural tones as we transition from summer to autumn.
With the changing colors of nature reflected in the hues of leaves, accompanied by earthy and gray tones, we are making a strong start to the season.
This is not just a color gradient.
This marks a new beginning that clearly signifies a return to clearer, more decisive, and era-defining choices from the "intermediate tones" and "transitional palettes" we have predominantly used over the past five years.
2026/2027 AUTUMN-WINTER
HOME TEXTILE TRENDS
1. THEME: THE ROOTS
We closed the 2026 summer season with the theme THE MOTHER EARTH.
So, we had subtly prepared our target audience for winter towards the end of summer.
THE ROOTS takes over this legacy. It continues the story from summer with colors and textures that warm the cold of winter.
As the name suggests, THE ROOTS doesn't take a romantic look at the past.
On the contrary, it establishes a strong link between ancient knowledge and the needs of today.
We are making contact with the earth. We are reconnecting with what is inherent in our essence.
EMOTION & DIRECTION
A conscious return to ancient knowledge.
Connection with nature, loyalty and inclusivity
A roof that evokes the warmth of family, where the feeling of security is at its center.
A sense of timelessness and permanence.
TEXTURE & MATERIAL
Fibers: Washed cotton, velvet, terry cloth, and natural blend textiles.
Surface: Stonewash, partly painted, matte-gloss balance, organic finishes.
The Touch: Handcrafted details; an approach where seemingly “imperfect” surfaces are a conscious part of the design; handcrafted accessories; balance established through imbalance.
PATTERN LANGUAGE
Organic silhouettes
Batiks
Surfaces that appear naturally worn.
Effects that give a sense of lived experience.
Natural fiber irregularities
The acceptance of imperfection as an aesthetic value.
PRODUCT DESIGN
Duvet Covers & Sheets: Breathable, soft-touch, washed fabrics that prioritize functionality.
Bedspread: Double-textured use, waffle pique, fine quilting, and organic-looking jacquard techniques.
Pillow Sets: Embroidered surfaces, knitted edges, and authentic and characterful accessory details.
Throw & Pike: Knit, velour, and woven fabrics.
Bathroom: Textured towels, soft-touch, organic finishes.
Accessories: Amorphous ceramics with natural forms and natural wood materials that retain their raw feel.
STYLE SUGGESTIONS
Bring the tissues together.
Add functionality to your products.
Emphasize calmness and naturalness.
Reflect the story consistently, not just in the design, but across the entire collection.
And most importantly : Apply this approach simultaneously across all areas of R&D, design, marketing, and all sales disciplines.
Remember, no discipline is meaningful on its own.
THE SECOND THEME IS COMING SOON…
Below, in the bottom right corner, there's a little heart ❤️ Don't forget to like that heart to share your appreciation with me.
